Gs300 Mk2 Se Wheels

I currently have the 17” 5 spoke Lexus alloys on my 99 GS300 SE. The wheels are badly curbed on the nearside and corroded so I'm considering either getting them refurbished or getting a set of aftermarket wheels. I have seen a set of 18" CRUIZE 190 silver alloy wheels which look very nice but I'm not sure what a set of 18" wheels will look like on the standard ride height of the GS300 SE. Has anyone here fitted 18" wheels on a standard ride height GS300 SE, or seen a car like this?. Also does anyone know how much the ride comfort would be affected by these bigger wheels?. Cheers.
