Good Indie In Bristol

Just an update on a past post for a good indie in Bristol for your Lexus.

I have just had a full service on my GS300 which included auto transmission oil change,plugs replaced,brake fluid change,diagnostic check,front brake calipers and pads,rear brake pads plus brackets on exhaust repaired.

I supplied the tranny oil plugs disc's and pads and plugs and he was happy to do the job with the patrs I supplied (I got them all cheap on ebay) he checked the car right through regards emissions, Battery condition,recorded ECU faults, coolant plus lots more and he really knows his stuff.

So if you want a good job done with a lot less than main dealer Garry is the guy to see he has two Toyota mechanics that work for him and they love working on the Lexus models, I would like to point out I have no connection with this garge apart from jobs done before my last car was a Mercedes and he did a great job on that as well.

In badging their upmarket cars as "Lexus" , Toyota have scored on two fronts. High perceived quality at point of sale and mystical engineering at point of servicing/repair. If they had been badged as Toyota, I don't believe there would be this concern by so many people about them being serviced by the manufacturers service agents.

You missed the point Main dealer high service charges ie. £110.00 per hour and in my experience there service is c++++
