installed double din head unit in my lexus .but it is losing memory when i switch of ignition .which wires are wrong way round guys ? got to remove this today to do the aerial wire so i can do this also ....

just tapping into the wiring ,thing is i had another aftermarket unit in there before .and that was ok .and i dont suspect this new one i have got .i have found that if you switch the ignition off for about 5 mins it keeps memory .if its off for about 20 mins it loses it .......strange

Is it a cheap eBay double din?

If so my old one used to do that, you need to turn the key to the first notch for a few seconds, then start the car. It seems to be the sudden on-off-on when you start the car it doesnt like.
