as police bashing is flavour of the month i thought that today i would stick up for them and ask..yet again, how exactly the POLICE failed you in this case....as per my original point why are the POLICE a waste of space in the instance

The police dont run the courts, the police dont sit on juries, the police are not magistrates....4 days in court and a re-trial isnt the fault of the police..

the police got your case to court didnt they......the CPS are a different institution as are the magistrates / crown court but i guess blaming the police makes you feel better eh

black face mask 3 friends one transit followed him pulled him in the back and roughed him up a bit(nothing bad) and kicked him out at the park just down from his house!!!gues what no more damage to the car!!!i'm not normally like that but it made my blood boil and cost me to get my car fixed!!

anyway rant over hope your wee friend gets locked up or made pay for the damage aztecbandit.

This reminds me of a incident about 15yrs ago. I had a bright yellow Mk3 Escort ( XR3 Lookalike  ) which i loved.

Anyway, i parked it overnight a bit away form the pub. Next morning i got a visit from the police saying my car had been found in the nearby cemetry.

I went to get the car and found they had ripped through the door, were a bit of rust had started, a big gapping hole in my door.

That day i drove around all the usual haunts the neds hang around, asking nicely :whistling: who the F*** had stolen my car.

Eventually one of the little scumbags gave me a name, and to my horror its was one of my next door neighbours ( Willie )

My neighbours consisted of Mum, Dad ( bevvy merchants)and 2 little runt Sons about 19/20 and two of the biggest Rottwielliers youv'e ever seen. These things were the most aggresive things ive ever come accross, i was terified to even walk past the garden fence when they were in out.

So i hatched a plan in my mind, with the Killer Dogs playing heavily on my mind.

I chapped the door, and as usual i heard the dogs going mental, then Willie peeked his head round the door, with the dogs snarling behind him.

I told him my young brother ( who he knew) was out in the street wanting to speak to him ( LIE ), so out he walks, me behind him. He looks up and down the street, and turns to ask me were my brother was. Before he finished his sentence, i proceeded to kick him up and down the path for 5 minutes,

whilst me reciting " you little scumbag, never steal my F****g car again" and him squealing " it wissnae me Tommy".

After a good beating i let him up and he ran into his house, returning 2 seconds later with one of his Beasts ( little F****R knew i was terrified of them).

The dog ran at me with foam spewing from its mouth, and me being brave, i jumped in the car and locked the doors. Willie, with blood coming out his nose, was all brave now, telling to come out the car, whilst the MONSTER was trying to eat my car.

Anyway, after 5/10 minutes, all the other neighbours came out to see what all commotion was and eventually everyone went back indoors, including Willie and the Devil Dog.

One week later i found out the little F****r who gave me Willie's name was the actual culprit.

It goes to say, he got the same treatment and i eventually apoligised to Willie, who said "niegh bother, i'd have done the same".

As i said, that was about 15yrs ago, im more mature now, so if it happened now, i'd probably do the exact same thing. ;)

THE END

Similar sort of thing. I had the opportunity to catch a 'lad' who was just about to break into my tool shed, as I had heard noises in the neighbors garden I stood in the dark and waited, sure enought he came across (there was a second but he remained in the neighbors) and tried to open the shed. Anyway I pounced on him, I wasn't waiting to see if he was armed or even bigger than me (which he was by about a foot) grabbed him from behind and banged his thick scull against a brick wall, whilst he was dazed I gragged him inside the house and called the police, and got my Old English Sheepdog to sit next to him (anyone who knows those dogs will know how soft they are) which put the sh!¬$ up him. Police arrive (x2) and asked the kid what happened to his head which was rather swollen from the wall, he told them that I had hit him and I agreed to that, one of the officers disagreed with him and said 'No you didn't you fell, didn't you' this was repeated for some time me aledgedly hitting him and me admitting to it, eventually he agreed with the ofiicer that he 'fell' when he was then told off for being a liar in the first place and trying to get me into trouble. As all three left the house were the police where to take him to his parents, I was told there was nothing they could do as he was only trespassing and that was a civil matter, anyway after the lesson I taught him he won't do it again. Now if he hadn't tried to run away he wouldn't have fell against the wall. :whistling:

I blame the ban on smacking kids for the way they are these days. I`m only 25 but can`t believe the things I hear from kids as young as 8 or 9 even. There`s just no respect for anything these days and its worrying what the next generation of kids will turn out like!

Seconded. Hoodie wearing brats on street corners demanding "respect"? Try earning it, then. When I was in school there was only one class in each year which had kids acting like that, and it was the thick class. The cane was always an option (and one I narrowly escaped) but kept most of us in line. A wallop didn't have to be administered, the fact that it was an available option was enough (unless you were caught fighting, in which case both parties got one automatically).
