Sat-nav Just Turned Off While Driving

Recommended Posts

I had a very strange problem today. As i was driving in the rainy morning, all of a sudden my sat-nav screen went black. I pressed audio and it took me into all the menus except everytime i try to go to the map it says: "External system not connected"

Eventually, i stopped on a side road, turned off the car and back on and it was ok. But i am wondering what this problem was all about. Anyone else had any similar issues?

maybe when driving a bump may have moved the cd inside the drive which caused it to switch off and when the car was switch off and turned on it reset the drive. something along those lines anyway
