Stone Chip Touchup

Hi I was looking at getting some paint to touch up the stone chips on my car how hard is this to do ... i was looking at Halfords to mix the paint into one of these pen tool things, has anyone done this ,,, also on the computer the 17 year old showed me that under lexus they had the code 3n3 (i think off top of my head) which is what i want aztec fire red,, but on the computer it does not say aztec fire red it is called some other red,, is this then the wrong colour even though the code is correct?
