can some one advise me on how to get the paint of the rims ?

had thought of brake fluid as this kills the paint on the body work as my mates leon got coverd in it the other week

try thinners turps or tar and glue remover,brake fluid no longer contains the corrosives it used too so doubt it was brake fluid that was on your mates car, but nitromorse is one nasty liquid and will remove every thing it comes in contact with inc melting plastic and eating in to glass,if your car gets hit with the stuff some body shops will not fix it as it eats into metal too!!

Are you thinking of stripping the rims all the way back to metal matey or you just want to spray them? :)
