Hi All

Does anybody know if the IS200 headlight washer actuator fits the GS300 there are always plenty of IS ones on eBay but not the GS ones, this is a picture of the IS one

Whilst I don't know for sure, the pictures of them (IS200 then GS300) in the following two diagrams look quite different, and the part numbers are certainly different, so I doubt if they would fit :(

I tried to find the diagram for the IS models but couldn't and as you say they look different and the part numbers are different so I will have to keep hunting.

As Stevie says, certainly not a direct fit. You could maybe bastardise it to fit, or maybe butcher it to get yours working, not sure it would be worth the hassle though. Where have you tried so far to get one?

Lexus parts Swindon £211.00 online breakers yards £115+vat eBay breakers £90+vat +delivery.

The trouble with most of the breakers I have asked for a photo and some have been happy to send one but I would not give them 20 quid for them (Rust and covered in muck they couldn't even be bothered to clean them for that price)

I have not got much time for the breakers because they pick up the cars for peanuts and then shaft us on second user prices.

Just a point I have not mentioned the one I have on the car works OK but when I bought the car I noticed it would not clean the headlights when I had a look it just has the rubber part on the front missing that comes out when the switch is activated

Yeah, I know what you mean. Stuck between a rock and a hard place unfortunately. I got my alternator for a decent price via this link http://www.247spares.co.uk, not sure if you ahve tried them or not.

Yes tried them but only had two replies they don't seem to want to have the hasstle of taking that sort of thing off (It means they have to bend down and get there hands dirty)
