How Do You Remove The Headlight On The Ls430

Recommended Posts

as it says - last night I made a right hash of changing a bulb, resulting in me deciding it would be easier to remove the whole headlight assembly than to continue fiddling - I removed the two obvious screws but found that it was still 'connected' somewhere around the wing.

In the end I managed to solve the problem without removing the headlight, but was wondering how you do it for future reference.

Have a look here ( sorry didn't see your year but this is for a 2003 model probably the same if not enter your year and body type)

Hi, I am reliably informed that changing a headlamp bulb in this age car is quite challenging. Typical garage cost is @ £500 ( yes five hundred pounds ) per side and little of that is the bulb cost. And if the " motors " are defunct then the cost escalates to @ £750 per side.

The older models without Xenon bulbs are ( hopes ) less demanding.
