Bypassing The Amp In A Gs300

Is there anyway of bypassing the amp as the is no sound coming out of the stero,had the headunit , cd and the amp out yesterday to check all the wiring and it look ok ?.So i was wondering if theres any way of bypassing the amp why i try to get my hand on a replacement amp.

Not sure there is any point bypassing it mate. The head unit doesn't have the power to drive the speakers so you will hear nothing anyway, unless you are putting an after market head unit in of course.

It is bypassable if you are changing the head unit or putting in an aftermarket amp, but using the factory head unit and feeding the head unit outputs to the speakers will give you no sound. I have bypassed the amp (hence why mine is out of the car) as I did an aftermarket head unit install on mine. However, I did not do it using any harnesses, I just chopped and joined what I wanted. If I sold the car, it is too much hassle putting the factory setup back in. Plus, in all lilelyhood, I wouldn't have the factory stuff left anymore.
