I had to replace 2 of my upper timing belt cover screws because the monkey that'd done them up previously had bent one and cross threaded the other.

I called my local dealer, he said they were £1.25 for 2. And when i went to pick them up the guy said he couldn't be arsed to split the pack down (as they come in a pack of 4) and said he wouldn't charge me for the other 2.

I love it when customer service really is customer service.

So try your dealer mate, you might get lucky like i did.

Bolts required :

VVT-i cover - 4 of M10x25, with 13mm washer.

Airbox - 3 of M10x30, with 21mm washer (you might need a smaller washer too, i.e. if the hole in the centre of the 21mm washer is close to the size of the head of the bolt).

Obviously the washers aren't going to *have* to be that exact size, just close enough to work.

wow he gave you a 50% discount, but it still cost you 31p a bolt !

for a bolt that generally retails at less than 5p !

and you think that is lucky :crybaby:

try your local ironmonger, DIY shop or screwfix :)
