Replacing Pollen Filter

Recommended Posts

Just got a replacement pollen filter for my IS200 from Puravent. I removed the old one and it has an arrow with 'UP' written next to it so it's obvious which way it fits into the tray. The new filter has an arrow on the side showing the direction the air should flow through it. It isn't obvious to me which way the airflow goes, is it upwards from the fan unit or downwards? Any help appreciated.

Thanks

The air gets sucked downwards, first through the pollen filter and then into the blower motor below it. So all the main lumps of dirt and other particles would have been on the upper side of the old filter.

Thanks Steviewevie, was a 50/50 choice so was bound to get it wrong! Have now sorted it.
