Hi,

I am going to sky sports next week for the twenty20 world cup, the tournamant finishes at the end of june.

now i know for sky sports you got to give 30 days notice.

well can I do this:

Ring them on monday morning, take out the package, and ring them the afternoon/evening the same day and give the 30 days notice as required?

I was going to ask them on the phone but though ill ask here first

Why not ring up and say your not sure about it and ask for a months trial instead?

They can only say no! they'll prob charge for it, but if you make it clear you just want a month from the start?

rang them and i was wrong dont need 30 days notice, you can cancel straight away but have to keep the channels for minimum 30 days, so can cancel at anytime after 30 days

badger them for some deals. Once the football season finishes we usually ring up cancel sky sports. They usually offer you a reduced monthly subscription to keep it over the summer.
