It's front engined so I wonder what caught fire?

Interesting, although the radiators are at the back and the article talks of radiator damage causing the problem so I guess there could be other bits towards the rear that could have caught fire.

what you mean still going???its broke if you watch the boy in the jeep he gets a rope out and tows the car off...............

oil cooler at the rear,diff oil cooler at the rear,gear box oil cooler at rear,brake pipes all it takes is a split in any of the line's a very hot exhaust and all of the oils are flamable.

When the rope snaps, the LF-A drives up to the back of the Touareg rather than wait for it to reverse.........I can't believe it could still move either, but I guess that means it probably wasn't a blown engine?
