Egr Valvu

Recommended Posts

Hiya Guys, anybody have any info on how to block off the EGR Valve on our motors? I heard they do this on some cars to allow cleaner air to the engine and increase BHP. Is this possible on ours?

you mostly find egr valves on diesels, not many if any new petrols come with egr valves now most petrol engines run very clean so no need for the egr valve.

the st24 i got has an egr valve as well, its definately petrol but is an S reg, we didn't block it off fully just got a bit of pipe with a lug inside it with a hole the size of a pen to reduce the flow to stop the moosing problems that the v6 engine suffered with. hope this helps.
