Aftermarket Satnav

Looking to replace the headunit in my sister's Mini with some form of permanent satnav solution (she's getting bored of using the TomTom), what's the best option here?

There's only space for a single DIN slot, is it only Pioneer that do an all in one system that is this size? With Alpine and Kenwood it looks like the headunit and nav unit will need to be separate, which isn't a big issue I guess if they are much better.

Aesthetically I'm not overly keen on the Kenwood's garmin mapping but based on the recent gadget show review, it does seem to be a lot better plus it must be cheaper to update if it's all garmin? Also does it support speed cameras like the portable ones can?

Very open to suggestions on what people think about these different units, including price (but they all seem to come in around the same ballpark) :)
