looks fine to me mate .................BUT just check the valve operation by hand and that the little R clip on the top doesnt foul anything, that might be the reason u get a sound???

and u need to bent the locking tab for the nut up a bit more so its against the flat face of the nut.

I would suggest putting some lock tight on the nut as mine came off once. Couldn't beleive, it luckly i had a spare.

move the lever of the valve by hand and ensure it is smooth and not catching anywhere and opens quickly also

there is a bit of up/down play but only a very small bit - less than a mm i would say

Does sound like its still slow shutting.

I kept both on at once IIRC. but are long as it feels quicker it should be fine.

I got a new upgraded TTE spring today , ( thanks to Rob's Lexx ) and just fitted it. In another post by Cho there is a pic of it fitted and Rob has said that the dog leg part of the spring can be fitted in three positions and his is fitted in the middle. But I cant seam to do this. So here are some pics of mine and would like to know if I have fitted it the spring the right way.

You can get them from TTE but they want 35 euros plus postage for it !!!!!!

sorry to go hijack your thred mr mole. in picture 3 the clutch wire on my supercharger is alittle bit loose. was wondering if that makes a difference?

Mr Mole my supercharger was give a dump valve noise i just sprayed the spring with lubricant and its fine now.
