Pioneer Head Unit

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I have a Pioneer head unit that worked fine till this afternoon when the screen stopped working and went completely blank. It's one of those units that the head unit covers the space where the cd goes in ( I hope I make sense here). The head unit is working (playing music and adjust the colume)however, I can't see anything. The strange thing is that when I want to take the cd out, the unit detaches (which is normal ) and the screen is working for one second and then it goes blank again (when it sits at horizontal). When I put the cd in the headunit goes in works for one sec and then goes blank again. It's the first time when it does that.

Is anyone here that could give me an idea why it doesn't work?

Thank you in advance.

M

HI mate, that might be right. Where is that ribbon connector located? Unfortunately the car came with the head unit, therefore no warranty.

Is there any way I can fix that or replace it by any chance ?

Thanks in asdvance for your help guys.
