Selling A Car Abroad

I know a few people on here have sold cars abroad, I was just looking at the V5 and there is a section for exporting a car but from what I can gather this is if you are still going to be the owner and there is obviously the selling car section but this is only if your selling the car within the UK.

Just wondering what the best course of action is and which parts to fill in and give to the new buyer and which parts I keep or send back to DVLA

I would have thought you just fill in the bit that says the cars been exported, send it to the DVLA and that's it. But Anees would probably know for sure as he just sold his car to someone in Europe didn't he?

Thats all i did with my IS200, i just filled in the permantly exported bit and sent it off

As Parthiban says, Anees would be the best person to ask Lee, as he's not long sold his Aristo to some guy abroad?

Did you keep the rest of the V5 or give it to the new owner?
