Hi all,

The rear shocks on my old 1990 LS400 really need replacing now. The back end is still bouncing and I parked it yesterday! I was thinking of using KYB shocks and was wondering if anyone on here has used these or know of a place that sells them at a good price. If anyone has used other makes of shockers, please let me know what you think of them.

Thanks!

Damn

I was hoping for an answer too...

The rubber casing has come away and i can only see the shocks becoming full of dirt and giving up soon.

How much is it for all four ???

I was quoted £90 each for shocks from a local car parts place.....seems to be a average price for them. I fancy the KYB ones as they have a good following in the states and are "tuned" for worn/older suspension. Still trying to find a place in the UK that sells them at a realistic price! (£135 each so far). Second hand shockers seem to be around the £40 mark but dont really want to go down that route!!

Thanks all!

Shocks done last weekend and the car feels so much better for it too......wish I done them a long time ago!!

KYB`s and Continental sportcontact2 tyres. Great combo!!

Check my thread on suspension suppliers in brakes and suspension.
