Clock On Permanently

Dear all

Would like to start up with thanks .I manage to put in my reverse sensors from another post .

I just install a after market double din HU.#But my clock stays on

Its driving me crazy not to mention it attracts attention at night (with the clock back light)

I have remove the stereo and still the same. Any ideas

Stereo comes on when the car ign is on

you have something wrong with the wiring of the new double din. i had this problem 1 night when eveything stayed on once i had turned my key to off and took it out. turned out to be a wire that had come out and touched another bit which kept the power there.

Figure it out its a poorly design amp by pass from AUTOLEADS PC2-92-4

The lead joins 2 yellow wires together

1 is contant

1 is ign power

You need to cut ign power and join to the HU power lead to it

and boom you done it

=======

If you just plug in the PC2-92-4

You will not get any power to the HU

If you run a seperate power to the HU and leave these 2 wires togther your clock light stays on

Had the exact same prob with the autoloeads by-pass cable, one of the batch's must have been faulty, i had to cut the 2 yellow wires & join one to the ignition feed, sorry i never picked up on this thread or i could have assisted, sorry bud.
