Recall Items On Is250 On 56 Plate.

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

My wifes is250 is almost 3 years old. This week she had a recall on a fitting to the rear brakes. Carried out at Bolton Lexus, no problem.

The wife's sister has an 06 plate is250 that had a recall for something related to the steering rack / column, albeit before she bought it.

My query is, should my wife have had the steering related recall and the wife's sister a recall on this new rear brake problem?

Many thanks.

It may be dependent on the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) which is registered with the main dealerships, but my IS250 SE-L which I purchased new in 2005 has had recalls for the steering rack, the rear brake calipers, the fuel line and the front seat belt recoilers. Just waiting for the front carpet recall now.
