if fluid is ok or new, then make sure you've got equal air in the opposite tyres (i do 32 f, 34 rear for some reason???)

If you have a slow puncture it can affect steering and make it heavy at times.

All 4 tyres are usually differenty when you decide to check

Mine is a 93 models remember! I'd expect he 04 wheels to be still ok

Its worth a check if fluid is ok, depends how heavy the steering goes

Sounds like the filter screen on the rack is blocked and when you clean it they can be problematic to bleed. Cheap job but time consuming. Plenty of posts about it on here.
