Headrest With Monitors Built-in

Has anybody installed the headrest with the built-in monitor?

Was just wnating to know how you may have routed the power and video/audio cables through the seat back??

been thinking about doing this myself. you'd have to create a small groove down the side of the plastic things the posts go into.

then just run a coat hanger down the seat, tape the wire to it, and pull it back

not really stav just pass the wire through the post its self then down through the seat,ill get some pics for you later of how ive done mine

Is the post hollow?

Is the OP talking about fitting screens into the original headrests or swapping the originals for the ones you can get off the net that are replacement headrests with screens already fitted?

If the latter then you probably don't even need to put the wire through the post, as it's probably already there?

Not sure if anyone's done it on an IS200, but there was definitely a member who used the preinstalled type replacement headrests on an IS250 and the result looked pretty good.

Its the ones from fleabay. The wires come through 1 of the posts. They do look good. Once the wires are through the seat back, the rest is easy.

i did it to mine, got 2 x 9" in the front seats and 2 x 7" in the back and yes they are hollow and just pass down the seat.
