Whats The Best Tyres Size For A Set Of 17's

Hi all, purchased myself a nice set of new 17's but they need tyres!!

whats the Nicest and best SIZE tyre to go for to give the alloys a nice look??

some people have said (225 40 17) some say (215 45 17) some say (225 40 17)

also please let me know if anyone is selling tyres of this size?

preferably looking for: (yokohama parada spec 2, kuhmos, Avons, bridgestone, dunlops)

Are these the standard 5 spoke alloys? If so, prob best to stick to the OEM spec of 215/45/17. Won't 225/40/17 give you a smaller overall diameter?

hi mate no they are after market deep dish alloys.

Agree with Rob, better to spend a little bit more and get some quality tyres.

I've run my Lexus on :

Dunlops which came with the car from new

then had Michelin pilot sports after

now running on Bridgestone Potenza's

all were 215/45/17

changed my original 5 spoke alloys about 12 months ago

to the Lexus 11 spoke ones which appeared on eBay & quite a few

of us on here had sets of these because they were going for a song
