Handbrake Icon Stays On After Braking

Recommended Posts

The handbrake icon turn it self on when use the brakes (not if i barley touch them) and stays on until i turn of the engine and start it again and then when i use my brakes again it comes back on and stay on until i stop my engine again. What the heck? Some kind of warning?

My car has been repainted and when i was over at the garage they used this thingy to remove the old paint and it was connected to the Battery on my car. The radio channels i had saved was reset so was the clock when i got my car back. Do you think some circuits has been fried?
