As a newish owner, I had just come up against the uneven front tyre wear problem.

Following a bit of searching I quickly found the relevant threads on the forum and booked myself in for a visit to WIM

Can't praise Tony, Jason and their staff highly enough for their expertise and the smooth operation of their workshop.

A very satisfied customer.

By the way, Bridgestone RE050's at a very decent price!

Excellent- Used WIM a few years ago myself, Tony is a top bloke who knows his stuff.

I have covered 40k now since WIM corrected my geometry on my IS200- no more uneven tyre wear at all.

Kam050 - what tyres you got on for 40k's worth?

I didn't make myself clear- my car has done 40k since WIM corrected the geo on my car= no uneven tyre wear, I have't got 40k out of one set of tyres.

ahh - :) hehe I did wonder. What mileage do you see from your F1 Asyms?

Well I've done 18k on the F1 Asyms and I reckon I've got another 2k before they need replacing. I do a lot of motorway/dual carriageway driving, so I guess if you do mostly town/local driving you'll get more mileage out of them.

Out of interest for those wanting 'pro-alignment' so to speak this site here allows you to search for your nearest Hunter equipped alignment centre (as WIM is) meaning that those with the Hunter machines have been fully trained etc in using them and can be trusted to do a good job ...... plus there's a 5% discount coupon to print off and use against your bill :D

Umm..thanks Janey, I now know I have six alignment centres within a radius of 20 miles from my home that have Hunter machines, but guess where I'm driving the additonal 70 miles to have my alignment checked. I thought you'd know by now that's it's not the tool you have, it's the expertise in using it
