hi,,,ive recently bought a 06 is220d and have been told that if i re-map the computer, to bring it up to 215bhp i will get better fuel economy is this true, is this a good idea and can it harm my car????

hi, i dont know about a remap but i got a tuning box put in and the mpg has improved abit but more importantly the horrendous turbo lag had been improved alot if that helps :)

Hi. Which tuning box did you have fitted? Have been looking at these myself (http://www.dieseltuner.co.uk/lexus.html). Would be good to get some more info from someone who actually has one fitted.

i got a energy tuning one, i dont know the exact hp but throttle response is improved and lag is definitely reduced. i think the website is energytuning.co.uk or .com, one of the two lol.
