Front Number Plate

seen some of the 200's on here that look like they're plates are stuck on, without the screws, what have you used for this??

double sided tape, velcro??

also, has any one done anything different with their front plate, as it looks pretty cool without one on the bumper, wondering if there's any way this could be legal (im sure in the front window isnt as it affects the reflectiveness)

Most of us use sticky pads to stick number plates to the car. You can also use velcro strips as well (handy if you take your car to shows and you and you want to use show/club plates- makes it easier to swap plates over)

my dad is a builder so i "borrow " some of his double sided tape. works great. and i have a private plate which judgin by your pic i think you do to, its still easy to swap them over

hi.

you cant just remove the front number plate and not have one in that posistion at all, as there is a large recess behind it.

i had to have my old bumper plastic welded and smoothed over, then repainted.

we have here in sweden a plastic holder that the plate locks into. no screws just slip it in and the place a plastic lock on it.

My number plate decided to part from my car the first time i put it through a car wash. So a quick trip to Homebase and i found Sellotape Outdoor Sticky Fixers. They are small double sided sticky pads. Perfect for number plates.

yes behind the plastic trim there is a large recess.
