Jdm/short Antenna

Right boys n girls, got another little modification you for- JDM/short antenna.

Have been reading up about JDM/short antennas recently and I found that a OEM antenna off a Honda S2000 will fit the IS200. A quick search on eBay (US) and I found a new OEM Honda S2000 for $11- I don't know how much the same antenna would cost from a UK Honda dealer. Emailed the seller and he confirmed that the antenna for the S2000 will fit the IS200/300. Bought it and it took a week to arrive from the US.

The radio reception is the same as the OEM Lexus antenna- overall I like it.

I've read about the S2000 antenna as well, but there is actually a Toyota antenna that looks pretty much the same, often called TRD antenna:

Both savage, had a look on eBay for the TRD one and couldnt find anything... Anywhere else that would have em?

go to toyota and ask for a toyota IQ antenna its shorter than the ones the others have fitted and looks the same.

tom's do a carbon one that should fit well, not sure its worth the cost just for an antenna when i dont listen to the radio anyway. thinking of having it completly removed, nice smooth look. as we all know the devil's in the detail.

TRD? It's just a JDM Altezza antenna. Should be available through your local toyota/lexus dealer. Part number is 86309-53010
