Hi all,

New member here -

Hopefully driving a IS220D tomoorow - gonna be picking it up tomorrow pm from Lexus teeside. Trading in my BMW 120D M-Sport (3 door), which I do enjoy (but has limitations), and going for a more refined/family friendly motor (growing family)

I read a few forum topics on the car (long gear ratios etc.), but she drove wonderful on the test drive - so all excited at the moment (just like Xmas).

No problem with your decision. I have recently taken possession of my second 220 - a 2009SE. Still monitoring whether Lexus have made the improvements claimed and trying to get feedback from others. Is yours a 2009 model or earlier?

It's an earlier model - 2007 16k on the clock

After a disappointing Friday and weekend -

The car was not ready and was still in the body shop - (three days for alloy cleanup - two minor kerbing marks to remove on two wheels), just had the phone call it it will be ready today. Fingers crossed I'll be picking it up tonight.
