Hello fellow lexus owners i have just purchased a RX350 SE-L only a shade over 3 years old but it had now done 100K and is due for a service all previous services were at bradford lexus. I went to lexus birmingham who quoted me something like 500 quid plus a 10% discount since it older then 3 years now which i thought was excessive as they don't need to replace any spark plug or do anything with the timing belt. The break down for just the oil was over 100 quid, Phew!!!

I couldn't find any local independent Lexus garages does anyone know any good one in birmingham???

P.s. I only travel 12 miles a day to work and back and im getting about 20 miles to a gallon is this about right??

Hi,

20 MPG on short runs for your car is probably about correct there is a big difference with mine on local driving and a good run.

As for servicing it sounds a lot of money for the interim have a look below for a link which may interest you ( I have no association with the company but just found them on a search) but cost wise it looks good.
