Fitting Rx8 Wheels To An Ls

Recommended Posts

Tried fitting a mates RX8 wheels to my 2001 430 , they do not clear the front calipers. What spacers do people use when fitting? Also the factory wheel nuts look ridiculous! Can the Mazda ones be used?

Regards

Ray

Hi you may have to change the studs aswell as they will be to short when you put the spacers on, The center bore may be to small aswell, speak to mat8n about rx8 alloys.

search my name for whats needed, its a right ball ache and really not worth it unless you can get the wheel/tyres really cheap.

basically you need two lots of spacers, then get the centres of the spacers made bigger then get some new wheel nuts.

its all in here(mine is a 97 400 so may be slightly different but i doubt it)

Only seen this now , thanks for the reply. Decided it's too much hassle , by the time i pay H&R for the spacers , refurb and buy tires it'll work out too expensive.

Am on the hunt for a set of 2004 18" wheels now , hope they dont ruin the ride quality
