Hi Folks

When opening my fuel flap to refuel, I've recently noticed that it wont stay in the open position for long, it seems like it's lost its 'springy-ness'. What I find annoying is that it keeps closing on me while i've got my hand and fuel pump there.

Anyone know of a fix???

Put the fuel filler cap once unscrewed onto its holding place on the flap - it won't allow it to close then :) That's, what I do. Mine fails to stay open also :)

There should be a little springy piece of metal on the inside of the fuel flap door.

Perhaps yours has come off or broken or something ...

This was mentioned in another thread a few days ago. Not sure if that was the thread main subject though.

Think the result in that case was to just replace that springy bit - just a cheap part to get.

Perhaps people thinking this was the same thread and thus not replying.
