Been driving down an A-road, seen a road sign, and had a chuckle at some of the names of towns...

My fave's have to be:

1. Box

2. Beer

3. Giggleswick

4. Wigglesworth

my one genuine one though is still C O C K, that is on the way down to Newquay.

Also......did you know that NEWARK is the only place in England that has an anagram of (well,work it out!). I got that from a Jasper Carrot sketch of YEARS ago !

I always thought Five Mile Bottom was unusual (near Newmarket)

Or Bacon End (A120) if you're feeling peckish, but my favorite is still Ugley - home of the Ugley Womens Institute.... until they sussed that one - It's now the WI of Ugley.
