Is 200 Catalytic Converter

Hello all,

got an altezza rs 200 and i think ive got a hole in the catalytic converter been looking for a new one and they all seem to be over the £380 mark, i have also looked at the is 200 one's and they are alot cheaper around £200. does anyone know if it will fit. and are they the same?

should i just get a de-cat?

probably have to make it fit as i don't think that section is the same... with a decat you'll still need a working CAT to pass emissions once a year

i dont think the cats are the same mate.

no they are not the same the manifolds are on different sides so the pipework doesnt match up, after the cat the parts are interchangeable

think im gonna have to get under the car and have a proper look, just to make sure it is the cat before i even think of ordering one as they cost so much. :tsktsk: think its might need replacing as i dont think its ever been changed on my 99 t reg altezza.
