Annoying Little Issue

Ok, Not sure if anyone else has had this. I have a minor issue when I do a left turn of about 90' or more, and (generally) whilst going uphill. When I make the turn, I get a ping (like a warning ping) from the dash and the interior overhead light flashes once then settles down. Haven't seen any other warning lights displayed (I though it might be the traction control) but I keep missing it if it does flash. Anyone got any ideas. I'm wondering id ther is a sensor on the drivers door which momentarily triggers. All suggestions gratefully received!
