Wobble/dronging Noise

i am new to the site and new to Lexus's. on saturday i bought myself a 99 is200 sport and its a craking motor but there is a noise coming from the front i think. it loudest around 30mph, there's no steering wheel shudder, it gets louder as i brake but doesn't make any difference if i have the clutch in or out. any ideas?

not yet, my mates fitting my new tyres tomorrow at his garage so i will get it up on the ramp for a proper look. My 1st thought was a wheel bearing but it gets louder when you brake, kind of like warped discs, but warped discs wouldnt cause the noise during normal driving
