Hi Guys

Having a strange prob with the lex...wondering if youve got any ideas?

Over the last few months the car has been cutting out mid motion and coming to a rolling stop; this is while its in gear (and also the electrics stay on the whole time)

The odd thing is that it starts after staying switched off for 15 mins...

Today i got it plugged in and its not brought up any error codes or problems in the history.

Id really appreciate any thoughts you have?

Cheers aj

first guess would be the tte black box

as they are known to go wrong, disconnect it to see if any difference, obviously dont get near the top end of revs

good replacement wold be the HKS fcd

second guess would be the pre-cats breaking down

Hi i am new to the forum can you help me please?

I have a 1999 altezza with a 1GFE beams engine, which is an automatic.

My problem sounds very simular where before pulling away the car stalls.

Is it likely to be the acu? i have had it plugged in but no error codes.

Thanks in advance.
