Tte Supercharger Kit

Recommended Posts

yep totally disasterous installations will charge you the best part of £1000 to fit the kit as well

i would hardly say that it was slanderous... removing bulbs so the warning light isnt visable and using a full tank to cover circa 200 miles, and rods coming thru blocks - is that not disasterous??

The seller is a tuning company based in Essex - you should have no problems bidding/buying the kit from them :D

ToyMR2 you may be better off waiting for a cheaper kit to come out as this one is quite expensive. Also bear in mind that you will have to send your own OEM parts back to the seller which will work out quite expensive for you (being in Norway) as they require large items such as the airbox sent back to them.

The seller is a tuning company in essex but they do not have the best reputation......i'm sure the kit will be fine though. I managed to fit the charger kit to my car in about 8 hours with breaks without any specialist tools. But if you really really really must have one now and are willing to pay over the odds......

I thought that kit on eBay was a bit expensive, and the parts I had to send back to the seller was a huge negative side. So I have decided not to bid on it.

However, I have have made an offer for the kit Sheeldzy is selling. So I just hope he accept my bid. :)

Through work, I know of someone that lives at the same area as him also, so I can work out local pick up.

You were talking about Beams didn't you?

just before X-mas I almost bought a beams kit for my car. with absolutely everything that was needed, alot cheaper than the TTE SC kit!

I've considered it, but never gotten any further. A supercharger kit is a lot more simple when selling the car and so on. Where could you get that from then?

a beams engine is what you'll find in the altezza..

to put a beams engine and all thats needed for it too run and for everything to work in your car will take a lot of hours and if your paying labour a lot of £££££££££££

you buy a charger when selling you can remove and sell very easy.

i fitted my charger in my garage in just over two hours.....

beams is just marketing hype..... you will find the beams logo on all engine types of the altezza including the 2.0 6 cylinder version that is in the IS200 sold in europe.

BEAMS is an acronym which stands for Breakthrough Engine with Advanced Mechanism System but most in the UK associate a beams engine with the rs200 altezza

The only reason I didn't go for it then was the payment method the seller wanted...

But I see your point, a supercharger kit is a lot more simple when selling the car. TTE also supply TÜV documents so to get the car registered with the kit should be possible. If he accept my offer, my goal is to have the car 100% road legal with this kit. B)

Rob:I have never seen Beams logo on anything else than the 4th gen 3sge engines found in altezza, mr2 and celica. The stickers are available in the toyota dealership, so in theory I could also place it on my girlfriends Yaris, would that make it a marketing hype? But yeah, it's just a fancy name for the engine, I agree with that.
