New Is200 Driver In Scotland

Hi my name is Jason, I am 22 and live in Dundee. I have just entered the world of Lexus drivers (IS200 SE) so thought i would share a few pics of my car (if i can get it to work) to see what you all thought. Any advice on what i could do to her next would be most appreciated. I was thinking along the lines of tidying up the engine bay first.....

that induction kit seems like a custom one and i would also advise to get a better filter like a apexi one

before you spend money on mods etc make sure car is all sweet .

fix all mechanical issues first. like oil filter change, pads etc etc

and nice looking car well shiny and i like wheels

the only things i would do.......remove the ecosse sticker,and the tte badge(theirs nothing tte on the car).

then i would give the engine bay a good clean followed by a better filter(apexi)mibbi some shiney bits.

Thats my old car.. i sold that 3 to 4 year ago.. i had a feeling it was in Scotland, last time i saw a pic of it was on Pistonheads.com..

That plate does/did look familar (thought it could have been an ex LOC owners car).

Knew I recognised the plate from somewhere. Car looks good.

yes it is quite a nice car but seems to have been a bit neglected recently. So a good wash and wax (Autoglym deep shine) brought her out a treat but uncovered some hidden rust around the arches/roof which will need looked at. I have her booked in for a full servics tomorrow including new pads all round. New timing belt going in early next week and then i can get stuck in to that engine.

where do you stay Asi? are you at Crail in your pic?

car looks well and good to see you are planning tidying it up as well. I am only 15miles from Dundee. Am sure that car was for sale when I bought mine last year. on eBay maybe, cant remember where I saw it but recognise the reg.

I'm planning on keeping it for a while so i think its best i tidy her up before its goes to far. I know a good sprayer too, hes not the cheapest but does a good job.

If anyone can help me find the apexi induction kit for the IS200 it would be most appreciated, I cant seem to find it anywhere...

there is not a apexi induction kit all i will change is the filter mate,

i am from fife mate and yes it was at crail mate.

John, The IS was on HKS coilovers at the time, and wheels are KHAN RS-S 18" i don't think these are available anymore.
