Just had the MOT and 50K service done on the is200 and it showed up as being about 80% worn on the fronts.

Having browsed a bit and not wanting to pay over 300 notes for lexus to do it ive read that mintex are the ones to go for. However before I do I want your opinions and also to check that the ones below are the ones to go for

cheers

When I had mine done at WIM, they recommended going for mintex pads and ADL discs, and not mintex for both. I never asked why though so this isn't the most useful post, sorry

Hi it,s worth checking prices at your local trade car parts supplier . I did my front discs and pads last month and bought ' Blue print ADL ' parts , used these for years and had no problems on various cars ; £90 + vat for discs and pads , pads do not have any shims or fitting kit but mine had only done 51000 so I reused them . done 2000 miles since + MOT pass no problems at all ,brakes working well and no rattles . I did use a dial gauge though to ensure minimum runout after reading on here the problems some people had been having ; got the run out down to 1 1/2 Thou on each side so I don.t expect any judder problems
