i would have thought so, if they are half competent

the locking nuts are not the hardest to remove

Appreciate you may not have the time, but I would give strong consideration to buying a new replacement key. My thinking being that not only would a key be cheaper, but also mean much less cost, in so much as you would know that your alloys would be left undamaged and you would save the labour cost involved in drilling out the bolts.
