Topping Up The Coolant Is200 1999

Hi

Can somebody please help me with how you top up the coolant on the Lexus IS200 Se 1999. I have looked and on top of the radiator is a metal cap which comes off easy but is full to the top. And there is another black plastic one to the left a bit lower down that just clicks off. I have managed to find the level indicator and it is very low.

Please help.

Thanks, I thought it was, but when I poured some antifreeze in it filled up with just a little bit, am I doing it wrong? Does the engine need to be running etc?

So I leave the engine off, and just keep pouring in. I take it , it takes ages to drain down?

it is only a header tank, fluid is drawn up the tube...it shouldnt be draining anywhere
