Buy a set of KYB shocks from BuyPartsBuy (online). Cost is about £120 for the pair and expect to pay £60 for fitting.

Always replace shocks in pairs.

Really?!?

I've just failed the MOT due to a leak on the OSF shock and been quoted £240 for ONE to be fitted by our local Fiat/Lotus/Volvo dealer! Just waiting for my usual garage to call back with a quote.

£240??? You're going to get shafted mate at that price (and they ain't taking you out for dinner 1st...). Way too much, as mentioned, get the replacement shocks from BuyPartsBy (online seller) and get a local garage to fit the shocks YOU supply.
