Hello all I bought a 2006 IS 250 sport last month and as with many others have suffered from a number of interior rattles.

The biggest annoyance was the drivers seat which creaked loudly everytime I went round a bend and was slowly driving me insane!

I decided to try and fix it myself as the car is now out of warranty and was originally going to try to perform the TSB where you remove the seat locater pins.

However I found that all I needed to do was tighten the four bolts which hold the seat to the rail with a ratchet and all the noises disappeared.

Hope this can be of some help to anyone suffering from similar issues.

Cheers,

Sean

Hi Sean and welcome to the LOC. Thanks for the tip, I don't have any rattles or seat creaks, but if the seat plays up I'll know what to check first!
