Time To Change?

Recommended Posts

My RX (04 plate, 56k miles) has just been in for its annual (less than 10k miles a year) service and MOT. Having just had the sunrrof motor changed a couple of weeks back.

It needed 2 new front tyres, rear discs and pads and also needs a replacement shocker as the air suspension is leaking.

After over 4 years of happy uneventful money is it time to trade in and move on before it becomes a money pit?

There is only the sun roof motor which would concern me here. The rest is normal wear and tear and does not indictae anything amiss.

Think I am just looking for an excuse to change car. That & the fact work wont maintain a car over 7yrs old :whistling:

Well the air suspension will be the most expensive to fix; the sunroof motor is a known problem and kinda pales in comparison to the costs associated with the air suspension.

Watch out for the handbrake cables that sieze on these cars though...
