Engine Warning Light

I NEED HELP. I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK TODAY ON THE DUAL CARRIAGWAY, WHEN THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT CAME ON. IT STAYS ON SOLID, DOSENT FLASH OR ANYTHING, JUST STAYS ON. OPENED THE BONNET HAD A LOOK, EVERYTHING SEEMS OK, DOESNT SEEM LIKE ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE DRIVE.

DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY OF THE POSSIBLE CAUSES OF THIS.

WOULD IT BE SOMETHING LIKE THE COOLANT NEEDS TOPPING UP OR SOMETHING.

could be many things- my local lexus dealer does not charge to plug the car in and diagnose these problems - i would suggest getting your codes read by any garage with an obd2 scanner then post up the fault codes

As above you need to get the codes from the ECU to see whats wrong
