with the exception of the poor fuel economy and softish paint, the car has been faultless and never once let me down...

Welcome to LOC mate. I love my 220D. Fuel economy for me on most tanks is averaging around 46MPG which is a shed load better than my beautiful IS200 sport. Had a few niggles and most recent is poor gear change between 1st and 2nd and a grinding/graunching noise like a loose cog or synchromesh problem. It's going in to Lexus on Wednesday this week for a two day check. Already had a new clutch under warranty and no quibbles. Overall, I think the 220D is cracking car. Lovely to drive and so comfortable with toys you don't get standard on other cars in it's class. Enjoy your car mate.

hi thanks for the reply if you could let me no how you get on wensday .I am very pleased with my lexus great looking car and as you said loads of toys just let down with the gear box and small bits that lexus are puting right look forward to hearing from you tim
