How Do I Remove My Shocks

i have recently bought 35mm apex lowering springs and tried to fit them but i can not manage to remove the shocks. i have removed the disc and caliper but there is not enough give to pull the shock out. there are 3 L shaped bars that are bolted to the chasis that are in the way!

has anyone lowered there lexus is200 that has any tips or advance to help me out please??????????
